How do I play?

Swipe to roll the ball. It rolls until something stops it, mowing every tile it crosses. Mow the whole fairway, then roll into the hole. Do it within par for three stars. Settings has a How to Play guide.

I'm stuck on a hole.

Tap Undo to take back a stroke, Retry to start over, or Hint to see the next move. Every hole is checked by a solver, so every one can be finished.

Purchases

How do I restore my purchases?

Open the Pro Shop, go to the Store tab and tap Restore Purchases at the bottom. Remove Ads and the Starter Pack's Champion ball and ad-free status come back on any iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account. Coins and hints live in your save, so Restore Purchases doesn't bring them back; restoring your iPhone from a backup does.

I bought Remove Ads but still see ads.

Remove Ads turns off the ads between holes for good. Rewarded ads, which you choose to watch for extra strokes, double coins or a hint, are still offered as optional buttons. If ads between holes still appear, tap Restore Purchases.

My purchase didn't arrive.

Close the game completely and open it again: a purchase that was interrupted is delivered on the next launch. If it needed approval through Ask to Buy, it arrives once it's approved. If it still hasn't arrived, write to us with the date of the purchase.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your Progress

Will I lose my progress if I get a new phone?

Your progress is saved on your iPhone and included in its iCloud Backup. Restore your new iPhone from that backup and your progress comes with it. There is no account or cloud sync between devices.

Settings and Privacy

How do I turn off sound, vibration or effects?

Open Settings from the gear on the course map. Sound and Vibration each have a switch, and Reduce Effects turns off particles, screen shake and bouncy motion. The game also follows your iPhone's silent switch.

How do I change my ad privacy choices?

To allow or stop tracking, use iOS Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking. Where your state's privacy law applies, the game's Settings also show a Privacy Options button. Our Privacy Policy has the details.

Report a Bug

In the game, open Settings and tap Report a Bug. It opens an email with your hole number and device filled in. You can also write to contact@mowandputt.com.
