Privacy Policy
Effective October 15, 2026. This policy covers the Mow & Putt: Golf Maze app and this website.
The Short Version
- The game has no accounts. We never ask for your name, email or location.
- Your progress stays on your device. The game sends no gameplay data to us.
- Ads come from Google AdMob. Ads are only personalized if you allow tracking when your iPhone asks.
- Purchases go through Apple. RevenueCat confirms them under a random ID, and we never see your payment details.
Data Stored on Your Device
Your progress, coins, cosmetics and settings are saved on your device. They are included in your device's own backups (for example iCloud Backup), and deleting the app deletes them. We have no copy.
Ads (Google AdMob)
The free version shows optional rewarded ads, which you choose to watch, and occasional ads between holes. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect:
- Your device's advertising identifier, only if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt
- App-specific identifiers and information about your device, such as its model and operating system
- Your IP address, which can indicate an approximate location
- Which ads you saw and how you interacted with them
- Crash and performance data about the ads
Ads are limited to content suitable for general audiences. Buying Remove Ads or the Starter Pack turns off the ads between holes for good; rewarded ads stay available if you want them. Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Your Ad Choices
- Tracking: your iPhone asks when you first open the game whether it may track you. You can change this any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
- US state privacy rights: where your state's law gives you the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising, the game shows a Privacy Options button in its Settings. Use it to make or change that choice.
Purchases (Apple and RevenueCat)
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We never receive your name, Apple Account or payment details. To confirm purchases and restore them on a new device, the app uses RevenueCat, Inc., which receives your purchase receipts, your purchase history for this app and a random ID created on your device. That ID is not linked to your name or contact details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Crash Reports
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports with us. We use them only to fix bugs.
This Website
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) for security and reliability.
Selling and Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Some state laws treat the ad data described above as sharing for targeted advertising; you can opt out as described in Your Ad Choices.
Children
The game is suitable for everyone but is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help remove it.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, or to appeal a decision about a request. Because we hold no information that identifies you, most requests are best handled through the choices above or with Google and RevenueCat directly, but we are glad to help: write to contact@mowandputt.com. We will respond within the time your local law requires.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the effective date at the top.
